 ## What our customers say

 > “We recently visited Greece from Australia and organised our car hire through the Bratsos team car hire. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and hassle-free. The car was ready for collection, clean, and exactly as expected. The Bratsos team were friendly, professional and made the entire process easy. We had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend Bratsos team car hire to our family and friends. We will definitely use them again on our next visit to Greece!”

 ## Frequently Asked Questions

  How much does it cost?

 €50 a day.

Tell us how many days you need and which car, and we will give you the total before you book. The figure we give you on the phone is the figure you pay.

  What does the insurance cover?

The cars are covered by a rental vehicle insurance policy, which includes:

- Third-party liability, for both injury and material damage.
- Damage caused by an at-fault third party.
- Fire, total theft and natural events.
- Roadside assistance and accident support.

One thing is not covered: **if an accident is your fault, damage to the hired car is down to you.** We tell you before you drive, not after.

  Is there a mileage limit?

6,000 km a month. Beyond that, it is €0.10 per extra kilometre.

On a normal hire you will not get near it. If you are planning a long trip, tell us at the start.

What do I need in order to hire?

A Greek or EU driving licence issued at least one year ago, plus ID or passport. Minimum age 23.

If your licence is from outside the EU, you also need an International Driving Permit alongside your national licence.

Where do I pick the car up and drop it off?

At our base in Tripoli, during business hours. Outside those hours by arrangement.

We can also bring it to you. Tell us what suits you and we will say whether it is possible and what it costs.

What can be charged when I bring it back?

Three, and you know all of them beforehand:

- Fuel: bring it back at the level you took it. If it is lower, you pay the difference plus a €10 refuelling fee.
- Cleaning: €20 if it comes back dirty. You get it clean, you return it clean.
- Mileage: €0.10 per kilometre above 6,000 a month.

Nothing else appears at the end.

How far ahead should I book?

In July and August, as early as you can: the fleet is small and it fills up. The rest of the year, two or three days is usually enough. Need a car today? Call us, we may well have one.

Can I cancel, or bring it back early?

To cancel, call us as early as you can.

If you return the car before the agreed date, the agreed price is not refunded. That is why we talk the dates through properly before booking.

What if the car breaks down or I have an accident?

Call us straight away. Roadside assistance and accident support are part of the policy, so you are not left at the roadside.

In an accident, call the police as well so there is a record.

Can I take the car outside Greece?

No, our cars do not leave Greece.

If you want to take one on a ferry within Greece, tell us first and we will arrange it.

Do you have child seats, or a second driver?

Yes. A child seat is €7 a day per seat, a second driver €5 a day. Snow chains and blankets are €8 a day.

The second driver is named on the agreement and has to meet the same requirements you do.
